Our Story

Motcombs is known for its warm and familiar “home away from home” aesthetic.

First opening its doors in 1982 by the then manager of Scott’s restaurant of Mount Street, Motcombs established its prestigious reputation amongst Belgravia diners.

After undergoing a total refurbishment in 2021, we take pride in paying attention to our authentic Motcomb’s heritage and charm in a new modern manner, where our guests’ experience is our key emphasis and utmost priority.

As you venture through the Dickensian windows, you will unearth a historic restaurant where the walls and eclectic works of art tell a story of many a fond and merry occasion, where young and old, actors and politicians all come together and celebrate each other’s company.
